In my experience cooking with this utensil the non stick aspect really does live up to its claim for the most part; however, I found that in frying eggs; the pan had to be extremely hot or there was a degree of sticking(if no oil/butter/spray) was used. If the pan was allowed become extremely then a better result was achieved. Cooking items such as bacon, pork chops and hamburger this "sticking" was not apparent which I attribute to the natural oiliness of the meat. Cooking pancakes was also done with ease(without using butter and etc) although the hotter the pan the better the result yet there could still be a slight stickiness but not to same degree with eggs. Overall, I find this to be a good quality pan. It cooks thoroughly and cleans easily.

The square copper pan I saw on TV depicted four (4) grilled cheese sandwiches being made at the same time. That, along with the pic in the listing led me to believe that was the pan I was purchasing. Upon arrival, it was immediately apparent it was much smaller. The picture in the listing with a hand holding the pan made the pan appear as large as I thought it was. When I hold the pan, my hand covers the entire handle, unlike what the picture shows. I also reviewed the listing, and it did indeed state 9-1/2" (so shame on me for not reading the fine print). So I measured the pan. It is 9-1/2", but to the OUTSIDE on the top of the pan, not the usable flat surface... which is only 7-1/2" due to the sidewall taper. It is Gotham Steel Copper, however, and we have a number of their other pans so I am sure it is quality as we have had the others for years. It's just not the size we wanted or were expecting.Read full review

On my first use scrambled eggs came out without sticking.. After that everytime a lil sticks here and there but easily comes off. Though some foods stick more than others.. I tried rice krispy marshmallow treats which stick like concrete on other pans. On this one.... Still stuck after it cooled some! Dissapointing cuz I can never use what gets stuck, instead I have to fill it with water and soap to soften and remove. That being said I have NEVER had to use a copper scrubber with this or leave it in water overnight. Simply wipe with soap and sponge and still looks nearly new! Maybe it's because I treat it so carefully, I haven't tried scraping it with metal utensils like in the commercials so maybe it looks good cuz I treat it better than my other cookware? Or is it because it looks new after so many uses that I treat it gently? Whatever the case you'll be slightly dissapointed at first that it's not non-stick-slide-off like on tv but it is SUPER easy to clean and stays looking new.. So overall not bad at all.Read full review

I have tested it with a big slab of fried ham and a paper towel could have cleaned it,amazing! I also have used it in the oven with tater tots eggs and cheese again amazing clean up results. Have had it a week and it has become my favorite skillet, and with it's sides could say pan! Will be getting a couple more sizes and cleaning cupboards as these hang great.

I got this pan hoping that it would be as good as advertised, but it is not, I tried cooking a simple fried egg which immediately stuck to the pan and made a huge mess, I tried it out a second time with nonstick olive oil spray and the results were ok, definitely not the best Pan I've ever used, it's lightly built and the handle is very flimsy, I was hoping for better.
