For $43 you can't beat it, but I found that it is so far holding up to every day use and that it cleans up well, and does it's job holding plates it hasn't fail me in that aspect. Really the only bad thing I can find is the side clips to keep it together after just a week of use they are starting to wiggle out of the size set I have them at ( witch is fixed with a tug and stays tight till you take it off and put it back on (not a big deal) but has to be mentioned) but for the money you are not going to find a better deal I'm recommend this 100% get it it's worth it and with serve you well. Side note im 5/11 and weigh 207 and it fits just right

The carrier itself is thin, supportive, tough and comfortable. It holds my IIIA soft armor well inside, comfortable. It's also holds trauma pads and my heavy plates comfortably as possible for a cheaper item. I'm not unhappy with that. But it's new and not broke in yet. So far after an evening of wearin and adjusting it I've found that the torso straps, specifically the tightness setting are the down fall of this product. Te shoulder pads are comfy and secure. But the torso straps come loose with any movement and the carrier the itself becomes loose and wiggles because the straps will not hold position. All in all it's a good cheap carrier. I'll be replacing the torso straps for a more reliable set up.

Better quality than some of the other body armor, plate carriers that i have purchased in the past. Ive ordered 2 different colors so depending on the clothing of the day i have more options. One thing i especially like is that i can use my soft panels and a zipper on the outside allows me to quickly zip in a steel plate when needed.

I fully intend to buy this particular body armor mainly because I'm very familiar with armored vests from wearing them over 12-plus+ years while serving in the US Military and another 10-Plus+ years with Private Security Contractor Services including as a Fugitive Enforcement Agent working directly with almost every Law Enforcement Agencies Government and Civil chasing down some of the most highest profile Armed and extremely dangerous and deadliest criminals. I can truly testify that in any life or death field of service your choice of wearing an armored vest will absolutely determine whether you live or die... Period, End of Discussion!!! Furthermore whenever I operated with anybody I would absolutely notice not only one if they wore their body armor (Which is automatically mandatory in the infantry even just to go to the bathroom, showers, chow call, chaplain services in a so called "safe" FOB in or out of Indian country... Period!!!) when I and any other Military Veteran serves afterwards in any law enforcement or Private Security or Private Military Contractor job let alone Executive Protection or Body Guard assignments (Which I also have done as well) also Religious Services Protection and Security, which I've done also. I currently am CEO and am Master instructor, Trainer of a Special Close Quarters Combatives Self-defense/Survival Systems Courses Company for High Profile, High Risk and High Threat Private Industry Principles/Trainees as well as Military, Government and LE Sector are all expected automatically to wear body armor at all times with very few exceptions where they are being instructed and trained how to defend and or survive potential life threatening attacks. So basically "Yes" I recommend this particular armored vest, with one caveat being the absence of side armor plates but other than that it seems an excellent investment for increased odds of survival. Hope my somewhat long rant helps someone save their life.Read full review

I like this product and it fits well,if your on a budget, this is a great choice and the construction is just as good as other carriers. Now,if I had to rate the cons,I would say that the shoulder pads are too wide for the straps and the waist straps should have the adjusters forward, not backwards. It is a challenge tightening the waist when on,but do-able. All in all,I'm very happy with this purchase and would recommend this product to anyone on a budget.
