    Good but tricky to flip flipper

    Nice solid Kershaw. Blade feels a little more solid. Finger grooves are alright. The grooves fit my hand perfectly when I hold blade down. The only real drawback is the flipper tab. It’s almost a button. Hard to describe... the design requires a much stronger finger than usual. There’s a sweet spot with a sliding motion. Unfortunately it’s the only way to deploy the blade, one-handed anyway. Overall good ergonomics. The contouring on the back/belt clip is excellent. Nice knife. Just hard to open and more suited to people doing a lot of stabbing stuff.

    It's hard to deploy the knife blade and hard to unlock the frame lock. The blade hits the handle when it's deployed at the base.

    Kershaw Al Mar knife

    Arrived safely, as described, kershaw is a trusted knife. I have a same older knife exactly like this one. My brother wanted it, so I gave it to him. One of the very few Kershaw knife with full finger groove. The blade sharpens nicely & cuts good. It feels good in regular size average hands. But if you have big foot hands, it will be a tight fit. Dirt, mud, or blood washes off easily with the smooth G10, non-porous grip. Satisfied......
