Delighted it did the job
I couldn’t find item easily anywhere else and thought it was an old fashioned way of securing men’s PJs that couldn’t been purchased anymore. Someone suggested looking on eBay and, bingo, found just what I needed to reduce the waist size of my son’s PJs easily, neatly and to feel comfortable for him.

Pyjama cords
Well, they arrived extremely quickly and look fine - - time will tell whether they last! They seem to be made of rayon (I think these things were cotton in the old days, but anyway all that are on sale nowadays look the same). I've tied a knot at each end to prevent unravelling.
