Very Effective Strap Quick Release System!
I like this product! I have a very nice Gibson Custom Jazz Guitar that does not have a strap button under or near the neck. So this little device allows me to make my upper connection to the are of the head stock. It fits well under the strings. If anything, the quick release is a little hard to release. But I would much rather have it that way than to have something that might pop out on its own. The black color goes well with most of my straps and guitars. Anything but quick release
I purchased this item to use as a quick release for my guitar strap. The item is NOT quick release!!!!! Very difficult to use. The plastic is hard and I had to use a pliers to get it to release. I eventually got it to come apart without the pliers but my fingers were sore because you need to press so hard. Worthwhile
This crafty tool is a musicisns friend. When I play on stage and need quick entry and exist from my instrument, it unfastens easily so I can take guitar off. It also works to relieve some of the tension on the neck of my guitar while I have it straped around me. I have one of these for every guitar I have. Adds comfort for large guitar
Bought this item for a large body dreadnought guitar which for me was not comfortable on my lap and also not a good fit with the traditional strap pins. I had to stretch to make bar chords near the headstock. This set-up brings the center of the guitar a bit more to my right (right-handed) and is more comfortable with this larger guitar and brings the fretboard in closer to my body. Also, another plus is the way the guitar strap sits around my shoulder. Doesn't put pressure on the base of my neck like the traditional set-up and spreads the weight more along the shoulder. You'll love this! Best way to set up a strap on your acoustic guitar, or ?, than anything else I've seen out there. The quick release buckle makes changeovers quick and easy. I use a strap lock on the lower bought as well, so it makes it all too easy, and secure! Just get the ones for $3.67 or less. Moved my strap to the nut & quick release bonus
I'm a large man, and my acoustics forward strap lock is right around the 14th fret. With a bad shoulder, and my S-Locks not working (part electric), I grabbed this to push my strap end further up to the nut. I was hoping this would give me an easy way to get the guitar on/off me if i was having a bad day. Ended up i didn't really need the quick release (yet) because with the strap end moved to the nut, it's given me more wiggle room to keep the strap a little loose so i can lift the guitar strap over my right shoulder with my left hand, if that makes sense. Yet it's tight enough i can move the guitar where i need it, and it stays put during performance. I love this thing, and i'd buy it again for sure.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
