Leica Rangemaster 2000-B
This is the rangefinder for accuracy. It ranged known values of reflective and non-reflective targets out to 1000 yards within a yard. The ballistic curve information would be useful to those willing to match the output data to a specific cartridge, but I found that it was rather useless with my hand loads because I couldn't quite find a match that was reliable for a first shot hit at more than two distances (maybe it was me and not the Leica). The glass is second to none. I have experienced Swaro, NightForce, Meopta, etc glass with and without the fancy fluoro lenses. The display and the ergonomics are standard and work well. The only gripe I have with this rangefinder is my ability to hold it steady enough to get a reading. Small (ten inch) steel targets at 800 yards and beyond require several attempts and some serious concentration to get consistent results.
