Data RAID box
I now have 3 of these. I have them loaded with 4 x 6tb hdd server grade running in raid 1+0 mode. I love that the computer dose not have to configure the set up. Its all done on the raid box its self and when plugged in to the computer it is all set up at 12TB drive or one large drive. USB 3.0 is faster that the E-SATA port so it works great. I love it. I did have one go bad some time ago and Medasonic corp was very help full and quick is sending it in and getting it back working. I think the just swapped me out for a referb but hay. its is working and all they charged me was 20 parts and labor + 10 buck shipping. Cant complain. I will recommend this to other people. I use them on my server for mass data, video saving when I'm editing. Great RAID enclosure
This is an excellent low-cost RAID hard drive enclosure. I've had an earlier model for more than a year and it's worked perfectly with not a single problem. Setup is simple and explained well in the small instruction sheet, and took only minutes. If I needed another RAID enclosure I wouldn't hesitate to buy another one of these.

Just what I wanted
This does exactly what I want. Allows a stack of drives to be configured as JBOD and accessible using USB. I don't need/want it to replace my media server and it does not. USB is better speed than the E-IDE.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
