This is a great replacement for a Gibson-style guitar. Specially I used this to replace the bridge in an Epiphone guitar. It fit perfectly with no issues at all. I replaced both the studs (included) and had no problems with fit or finish. I looks very well plated and its shiny chrome (not nickel). Intonate was easily set using a philips #1 screw driver. No issues at all. It's pretty light weight and doesn't seem to affect tone in a negative way. I couldn't tell any tone difference between this bridge and the factory Epiphone bridge though. It does work better than the Epiphone (intonation wise) and fits securely. I would not replace a Gibson bridge with this one however, since Gibson bridges usually are high quality, and there's no reason to replace one. For Epiphone guitar (or Gibson clones) this makes a good upgrade to a typically poor-quality bridge.Read full review

I purchased this bridge to replace the stock Epiphone that came on my 2013 EPIPHONE ES 335 Pro. The Gotoh bridge fit on the existing Epi adjusters so didn't need to replace the anchors or the adjusters that came with the Gotoh. They were identical. Dropped right in and only had to setup intonation and raise it slightly since the saddles were a few mils shorter than the Epi. Easiest guitar upgrade I have done yet. The Gotoh also doesn't have or need the wire clip that rattles and keeps the saddles from falling out of the Epiphone bridge.

Though not priced like the boutique aftermarket bridges, the Gotoh is cast and milled to a high spect and the parts fit precisely without the wiggling and slop found in many OEM bridges. The larger-diameter holes and studs make for a much more solid operation.

I had an irritating buzz on my Epiphone Les Paul 100 that I could NOT hunt down. I read several articles pointing at the factory bridge with it's retaining clip as the culprit. This is beefier and gets ride of the clip retainer. I preset the saddles for intonation best I could, loosened the strings, removed the factory one, and the Gotoh dropped right in place...using the Epiphone posts! I tightened the strings back up, adjusted the height a little, tuned it and RATTLE GONE! This saved me from making the guitar wall art!

The bridge dropped directly into my FireFly FF338 perfectly, as it would for most import-style bridges like on an Epiphone. The bridge feels heftier and is made with better precision than the bridge it replaced. Intonation was easy to set up and to my ears, the guitar seems to ring more clearly and has excellent sustain.

You will have to notch the saddles for the strings so make sure you have some good nut files. Overall the quality is very good. The saddles ride on the adjuster screw very easily and it makes precise adjustments possible.

I've always found Gotoh hardware to be as good if not better than brands like Tone Pro's. This bridge is no exception. It's fantastic.

It fits perfect on my guitar. Thank you!

For the price, you can't beat the Gotoh tune-o-matic. Far better than any of the Asian imports on the market.

Well made bridge! Have many Gotoh bridges on my guitars. Never disappointed!
