One sheet of bubble wrap! The flyer base broke, but the model arrived intact. It is a miracle! This kind of packing would destroy most models in transit. Buyers should confirm that their product is being properly packed. There should be no air pockets in a proper, sturdy box. This model was rattling around like a baby’s toy. Also, models should be securely contained in their own bubble wrap cocoon, or plastic bag, so if they do break off a bit, the pieces can be recovered. Crinkled newspaper is the best space filler, and recyclable. Paper needs to be stuffed into every nook and cranny until the box bulges. As it gets bounced around in transit, the paper will still be compacted, but upon arrival there should Still be no air pockets. A good test for sold packing is to toss the box down a staircase, and there should be no jiggling or rattling. I hope this assessment will prevent disaster in the future.Read full review
