It’s OK, but don’t let your husband use it. It might get destroyed.

Works perfectly, comfortable, and easy to use.
So easy to use, and it works! I've used various other standard type can openers, and this one being different in that it opens cans around the rim.. instead of on top.. is great! When I first used it, it was so effortless to use, I thought my can wasn't even opened! I then noticed that the opener made a tiny slit all around the top edge of the can, and then used its little pliers to take the lid off. Perfect! Also, this can opener never touches the food in the can, nor do you get those tiny metal slivers in the can. The opener is ruggedly built, and comfortable in your hand. I am pleasantly surprized
My daughter has a similar type opener by a different manufacturer which works but takes a great amount of effort to turn. This opener is easy to turn and is easy to grip. The added lid removal jaw works great and is so much better than using your finger nails to lift the lid off. This is my second Oxo can opener ! I wore out my first one {after 6 years} and I can't be without one. It is an easy to use and very efficient can opener. Just spread open the handles, place the device on top of the can, and then squeeze the soft rubber handles together. At that point the cutter wheel pierces the side of the can (just below the lid). Then you turn the soft rubber crank (top right), while maintaining the squeeze on the handles, the can begins to rotate and the cutter wheel simply cuts off the lid. You continue turning the crank until the can has rotated all the way around. You will feel a mild "click" when the can has gone all the way around and you have reached, and actually have gone beyond the starting point, (and that's fine), indicating that the lid is cut off. {No the lid does not fall off}. Now, position the can on the table/counter and turn the crank backward one turn and open the handles that you have been squeezing together. Now you just lift off the lid. The edges will be as smooth as the edge of a spoon ! You are going to love this can opener ! Then, after many, many years of use, the cutter wheel will become dull and will not be able to cut through the can. Then you will go and buy YOUR second one !
