Yes, it's not an Aimpoint or Eotech, but for general use, or sitting atop a patrol rifle, it's just what you need. Some really nice features include a rubber armored body machined from a single piece of aluminum, automatically adjusting reticle brightness, recoil rated to .458 Socom, tethered turret caps (on the newest models), 1500hrs on a single AAA battery (longer, if you use a lithium battery, and a feature I really enjoy, 4 different, holographic reticles. Dial in your preference for a 2 m.o.a. single dot, a chevron reticle, a circle with center dot, or a cross hair, Plus, all the reticles have a key describing the reticles' length in minutes of angle which allow you use them for range estimation, or bullet drop compensation. It's built in Picatinny rail mount saves you at least 70 bucks right there, and it's the proper height for co-witnessed iron sights for an AR-15. So unless you need ridiculously long battery life, night vision compatibility, or bomb proof ruggedness, it's a good choice. If not, Aimpoints and Eotechs abound.Read full review

I was attracted to this sight because I have owned many sights from red dot reflex to holographic and I will say the options on this are sweet but overrated. Unless I got a factory reject the sight mount itself is worthless. No matter how many times I adjust it on the receiver the sight is canted. I'm not gonna waste your time with my resume but I'm an experienced shooter with real world experience and also build rifles and have mounted many scopes, red dots etc. I'm more than confident on how to properly mount a sight/optic. Contacted Lucid which they were quick to respond but assured me it was user error and it was impossible there Chinese made mount was defective. Well it is. I have used to levels and put one on a wall with the rifle in a vise as they recommended and there is STILL about a 5 degree upward cant from level. I also noticed this optic has an imperfection in the glass which if you move the optic around and look through the glass to the crosshairs the glass is wavy almost similar to an Eotech thermal drift. I am very disappointed. Never had so much problems with a sight.Read full review

I have a Bushnell holosight on my race gun, I actually like the reticle on this better. While it's a bit on the high side, it seems really durable. I bought the killflash, but it's not like I'll be using this to hunt or in combat, so treat it as a vanity item. I may get the 2x magnifier later, as without it the honeycomb pattern in the killflash is too visible. It seems very durable and the variable reticles are really nice, although most people seem to just use the circle and 1 MOA dot. I would buy this again.

So far it has performed well. I haven't tried the water proof claim yet but the scope seems to perform very well for the price point and even when compared to optics costing much more. I am very impressed with it do far.

I bought two of these. I put one on my AR10 battle rifle and one on my POF308 battle rifle. I have made hits on steel plates out to 600 yards using the AR-BDC recticles with both rifles. Three hundred yards and longer I was shooting at 12X20" plates. At 1 & 200 yards I was shooting at 8X8" plates.

I appears to be well made and of sturdy design. You can't beat the lifetime warranty. The tube is clear and the various recticles and brightness controls make this an excellent red dot at an affordable price.

This optic is great. I love the reticle options and it’s rugged exterior. This item looks to have come unglued near the eyepiece , easily fixed with a careful application of glue.

I have had my lucid for a little while now. I was concerned a little when I bought it because it was so cheap as was the packaging. That having been said the money saved on the packaging was spent on the optic its clearity is excellent.

Only had this site for a couple of weeks now and it has been working great. when I sited it in, I almost didn't have to make any adjustments. I shot about 200 rounds with this site and it never strayed off target. Only time will tell, I'll keep you posted.
