I've used Micro Sol since forever. However, this is my new setting solution. It does not seem to 'melt' decals as much, which can be good or bad (I actually like it- if you don't, there's also a 'strong' version). However the one big thing I prefer about it is the fact that it uses a low profile Tamiya glass bottle with capped brush. Micro Sol uses a tall and narrow plastic container, and I have at least twice now knocked it over on accident, spilling most of the bottle. Tamiya bottles are much more stable, and the built in brush is handy.

I have used other products like Solvaset and Microsol and Microset, all of which are better than this product. In fact, I believe water would do as much good as this. Solvaset works best for me.

Makes putting on decals a blast, and they look great.
