    Superior ICOM quality, hands-free isolation.

    I was disappointed this controller bracket was NOT provided with the radio for direct installation. The product is extremely well designed and constructed for hands-free removal for remote head placement. It is a typical superior quality ICOM product and enables complete radio installation. I've installed my ICOM radio system in a Pelican case, to enable easy transfer to any vehicle for field operations , facilitating compact, reliable long-range communications. I've ordered another, identical complete system for related same field use composition.

    Necessary item that Icom should have included in the box with the radio

    While I cannot state that this is a "good value" in the clickboxes provided for this review, I will say it is useful and necessary. However, it is ridiculously overpriced and should have been included by Icom with the radio itself, which comes with absolutely no mounting hardware of any kind for the control head. This adapter does come with everything needed to attach the control head to the main radio unit, but again, why ship the radio with no means to attach the control head somewhere? Thanks to my seller, I was able to find it at a more reasonable price. Hooray, eBay!
