For the price, it's about what I expected, but the errors in the 1-player game programming made me give it 2 stars. Otherwise I'd give it around a 3.5/5. It's definitely functional as a dart board for casual play, but several issues make it less attractive. I'm probably going to just buy a steel tip board now because of the issues with this (see below) 1: 1 player -01 games (like 301, 501, etc) don't work with "double in" rules set. I have thoroughly read the manual and the game will reset itself back to your original score, even after getting a double and finishing your set. I wanted a simple way to have a board-scored way to practice my 501 game in a 1 player setting. This board does not allow that to happen due to an oversight in programming and likely poor testing before the product was released. It works just fine in 2 player, though. I have tried every possible combination of troubleshooting "fixes" to make this mode work. It simply wasn't programmed to keep 1-player -01 scores with doubles rules. Why give a 1-player option if it doesn't function? 2: This board is extremely loud and rattly when hit with a dart (I'm using 16g darts fitted with the tips that are supplied along with the board). The plastic beds rest loosely against a metal background. I would only use this when home alone due to how loud the dart hits are, even when throwing lightly. 3: There is no on/off switch for the sound, and it makes loud noises when turned on and buttons are pressed. Even taping over the speaker holes only reduce the volume slightly. I'm thinking of puncturing the speaker diaphragm with an x-acto blade to disable the sounds to make it bearable. 4: Bounce-outs and bent tips are VERY frequent, even when using the dart tips supplied in the box. I noticed that my viper soft tips were a bit loose in it so I switched to the supplied tips, they hang in better but still bounce out at an unacceptable rate. Also, one of the included tips broke within the first 20 throws (I stand at the standard 8' soft tip distance and throw light) 5: The double bull is EXTREMELY loose. 1 dart in it causes the whole thing to hang and angle downward as if it's attached to a flexible plastic stick, making it near impossible to hit double bull more than once per turn. Overall I regret purchasing it but I don't want to invest more money in order to return it. I don't think it's terrible, especially for such a low price, but for me it brings more frustration than enjoyment.Read full review
