This an excellent portable automatic tire air pump. It's made very well, it's sturdy, and @ $55.00 you can't go wrong either. As the saying goes: "You get what you pay for" So, ladies and gentlemen... why would you spend $20 or $30 dollars for a plastic junk motor and piston Type when you could get This Viair #87P for $55.00 which is made from strong aluminum with torq screws, a Large Motor with 10x the size Piston to boot! Good, substantial, solid piece of equipment. Exactly as described. The instructions tell you to start the vehicle's engine while using. Since I was only adding a few psi, I didn't do this.
