Adjust the tension screw! Every pistol is slightly different. Don't pull up until you release, otherwise it will stick and not draw. For anyone who says Serpa holsters are dangerous and crap...they have no idea. I've been an armorer for six years, with a MP unit, so they all carried, and a tanker unit. I've seen the M9/holster combo beat to crap and still works, even in the mud and moon dust, getting beat up while climbing in and out of tanks or trucks.

I have 3 level III Blackhawk holsters and 2 CQC level II holsters, and I really like them. I use 2 level III's at work one on my duty belt, one on my drop leg. I bought this CQC for my Rock Island Armory 1911 10mm FS TAC II. RIA owners, you will need to remove the screw near the trigger cover portion on the outside, it will allow a small piece of plastic shaped like a bow to drop out, remove this piece. It MUST BE removed, in order for our RIA's to seat properly and "click" in, and the mechanism to release correctly. Otherwise the RIA 1911 will not seat, and the level II release mechanism does not function. A slight 30 sec. mod, for an excellent proven product and LH at that. Best price I had found, WHEN, I could find a LH.
