We got this out of the library and everyond in the family loved it--rolling on the floor with the wonderful twists on perspective--all of your assumptions or pre-conceived notions of the characters get smashed--every one of them has their own peculiar dignity. We had to find our own copy to own--hard to find--and on the way discovered other great books by this author. Anything by Tim Egan is worth reading, but this is one of our family favorites!
It was an ok Halloween book. It was recommended on a book list. It was appropriate for primary grade children.
