A Very good filter
I received this product in a week. No complaints. When i opened the small cardboard box (which was well taped to keep potential custom workers from opening the filter) i found inside the filter wrapped inside a folio wrap. The wrap was sealed, and had some lithunian text on top of it. I opened the wrap, to find the filter with both of the plugs on. The bottom of the filter was dented, which i used pliers to make it more normal. I then removed the top plug, and did a leak check, and found out it didnt leak. Tested this on a Finnish M-61 version 3 with a 60mm to 40mm adapter, which works well. One star off because it was dented.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Works against dust and nasty smells
Used this filter while autoclaving bacterial culture wastes. It blocked all the nasty smells. The plastic snap-on caps also make re-sealing this filter after use very easy. Interesting thing is this filter will also screw in and form an airtight seal on GOST masks like the GP-5, but I still recommend using this filter with a 40mm normalized hose. ( Search 'Respirator Gas mask ruber hose tube 50mm connection between gas mask and filter' for the hose in the review picture. Yes I know, the listing has a 50mm typo but the hose itself is still 40mm normalized. )

Lightweight. Superbly balanced. A great product.
Superb quality. The thread size of 40mm works with MSA 410 Advantage half mask and the overall feel is comfort plus. These filters protect your respiratory system where dusty work conditions are concerned and in fine wood dust environments which was my reason for purchasing. Don’t buy.
When I seen the picture of this filter and have “not expired” I was like okay this is a great deal. After it can to my door and I opened it I was very unhappy. The filter was expired 27 Nov of 2012. I don’t recommend buying this filter

Great for Soviet masks
Works on my gp5 came with a minor dent on the bottom a bit heavy would use it in a satchel for long term use
