If I rated a brick a 10, the factory seat is a 9, this $150 upgrade is a solid 7.5. Bike is meant for up and off the seat action. At almost 60 years old I am the sit down user more these days. I would say you can sit on a brick for 5 minutes, sit on the factory seat for 10 minutes and sit on this upgrade for 30. If I was strapped for $150 I would only invest $40 -60 in padded riding pants and bicycle shorts. But it looks good. Fit great. Easy install
