Really nice amp. I bought a Deluxe Reverb and it was too much for me at practice levels. At those levels the tone was thin for my application which is mostly practice and small gigs. These Princeton amps are perfect because they sound beautiful at lower volumes and at small gig volumes they sound good pushed a bit. I played the stock ones with the 10" speaker and I like these 12" speaker amps. I like the extra bass they provide and are a little darker but I like that. I play a tele and they are already have enough of a jangle sound to them. Jim Campilongo is a great Tele player who uses these Princeton amps and he has an amazing tone and style. I didn't click the good value as they are indeed a little pricey but they do really sound nice in you can spend the extra money.

hands down the best buy in a small combo amp out there. the time tested Princeton running 15watts with a pair of 6V6 output tubes, 2 12AX7, 1 12At7 and rectifier tube gives bell like tone with the famous 6V6 sag. true tube driven spring reverb and tremolo gives a lush reverb from mild to deep and a pulsing trem. the 12" Cannabis Rex speaker has nice tight bottom, excellent mids, and outstanding highs. the Lacquered Tweed covering give the amp a great retro look. whether running straight into the amp, or through pedals this amp is just a rock solid performer. give it a try. you'll wonder, like i did, why you waited so long.
