Top tier phone for Bottom Shelf Price
For its price, this phone has exceeded all my expectations since I bought it. Its durable, reliable, takes great photos and is fast, fast, fast, fast, fast! No bloatware weighing down my performance, the OS is sleek easy to use. One of my favorite parts about it is the "peek" function, where you can discreetly "peek" at incoming messages and notifications without unlocking or awkwardly pushing any buttons. This is great if you have your phone out of your pocket and you don't want anyone to see your business who is walking by. Speaking of security, the encryption function is great. Big with good expandable memory
I bought the Moto G 4th Generation XT1625 16GB on Feb 5 and the seller delivered it by Wednesday. I find this phone to be big, is not loaded with unwanted junk, but some of the features that I know I have had on an Android phone before are not their. The rear camera is good but I find I end up with more blurry pictures then I would expect, the karate chop for the flashlight doesn't always seem to work. Their is really no voice command for the camera to say a word like "cheese' and it would snap a picture. I like the expandable memory card you can put into it. Now in the past 3 days the phone has started to get a glitch in the message screen. It will start to click as if I am typing a word, then goes into a person's text and out of it, starts to act all crazy, a few times went into delete message mode and then started to check messages off by itself then jumped out of that screen and back into the message screen. I got it to stop by powering off. But later that night it happened again and since then it has happened 3 more times. Now I am thinking this phone definitely has a software problem. I will probably have to send it back and am not sure I would want to buy another Moto g4. I am still liking Samsung Galaxy better for all it's features. So I guess this phone so far rates okay with me since it is not even a month old and it's starting to have some problems.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Very happy with this phone. Blows away the Apple iphone I was using. Smokin fast page uploads with data or wifi, it's large, takes great pics. Installed 16 gig micro sd, lots of space. With android you have access to apps the you CAN'T GET with apple. Best phone I've ever owned. I'd recommend it to every one. On top of all this, the price,$125. bucks ?!! Nice phone, the Moto G4...
..and at a great price, too. Listed as "Refurbished", the phone actually showed no signs of ever having been used... it looks brand new, literally. I'm learning my way around the Android terrain as I write, but thus far I like the general way it works. Great phone! I just retired my Moto G first generation for this and couldn't be happier. I thought it might be too big for pocket carry but with a slim case it slides easily in and out of my LEVI'S 559 size 33 waist jeans. It's just a tad too large for one handed operation. One of the best things about this phone is no bloatware. Saves space on th 16 gb internal memory. I went ahead and purchased a 32 gb sd card for it in case I ever need it. Good G4 Phone for the price
First smartphone. I wanted a dual provider option CDMA or GSM. First phone had issues. Seller made it good no problems. Phone was first put on Republic Wireless GSM. NOT great coverage around where I travel. Phone itself worked great. Changed to Verizon CDMA. Very good service. Phone is easy to use as are most of the current generations. It has enough ram and storage for me I have only a few apps that I think I need. I did add an external sd card. I dont do music. I do like the camera takes nice pictures, at least for me All the features of this phone work well. no problems at all. Did not come with a user manual. DL from Motorola. Read it as well as the built in help app. The phone runs android 6.01 has not been updated since July 2016. Update phone SW says phone is up to date. I do need to find out why it is not updating to the current Android 7.0 However it appears to be working with no issues. It is small enough to carry in pocket but I prefer the belt side holder.
