Not as user frindly as TomTom but more features

ZUMO
This replaces one I've had for 3 years that just died (Garmin no longer services this GPS). The GPS is easy to use & works well, but has some draw backs. I would like to be able set up the dash board as you can on some other Garmins. The numbers are small & at my age hard to see. Garmin seems not to get that the people that buy their products are usually older (they are expensive these ZUMOs). Would have gone to the newer ZUMO but that would have required all new mounting bracket & wiring harness (absolutely obscene that Garmin changed it all). Blue Tooth works well & is convenient even for phone calls. If this one dies I will be done with Garmin & be sticking to using a phone.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Good item - Kawasaki Vulcan Voyager
Easy to wire into the motorcycle - the RAM mount is strong and works well giving the user a bunch of options. I did have to get a larger bolt for my bike though. The GPS is easy to use was already loaded with maps so you can use it right out of the box. Very good acc. they appear very solid nothing weak. Mine did not come with a owners manual just a start up quid but i found Youtube had some good videos on the unit. The system works fine, and you know you are getting voice information, but you cannot understand it. I got a good Bluetooth ear piece, but still not great. This GPS is one generation back from the latest model... With that said the unit works very well... I needed a 3rd motorcycle GPS and this one had an awesome price point. Came with everything you would need to install the GPS on your bike. Wired cradle for the bike all hardware required to mount it. It also cam with a cradle with suction cup for car use, using the included cable... Perfect for use on a motorcycle
I had a unit similar to this on my BMW K1600GTL, which was called the BMW Navigator. It worked flawlessly. I've sold that bike and navigator and have since purchased a Triumph Rocket Touring. I hardwire mounted this 660 to the center of handlebar with the handlebar mount included in the packaging. Back on the road, no difference in functionality compared to the BMW navigator. Great moto specific gps!
Used to use a car gps but decided to get a moto specific model so I don't get caught in the rain or something like that. Price was great so I picked this one(660). So far, so good! Little bit of a learning curve with BaseCamp but not too bad. My riding group uses these to map out our routes then sends the gpx files to all the sweepers. Works great. The Zumo 660 fits the R1200GS GPS cradle in replacement of the Motorrad Navigator. It cost less than half the price of the navigator and functions the same.
