So far so good...
I added this mount and scope to my Mosin Nagant who I refer to as PawPaw. Exchanging the rear sight with the new rail was a little harder than I thought because of the spring tension. I am not someone who does this kind of stuff on a regular bases so I probably made it harder than it should have been. The set screws in the rail helped me level it out to where I needed it to be with it. My scope bottomed out the first time so I had to remove it and adjust rail. Got everything together, got the scope sighted in at 100 yds. I was cutting bullet holes!! If the scope holds together I may come back and change this to 5 stars! Poorly constructed !
The recoil from my Mosin Nagant ripped this thing apart. I had a hard time keeping this thing Zeroed in and after about 500 rounds the recoil broke the two inner lenses loose from the body of the scope, and they looked like they were J.B. Welded into the body. maybe for smaller calibers with a lighter recoil but definitely not capable of handling the Mosin.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Clear optics, easy install
This scout scope is really clear and mount seems plenty strong with lots of elevation adjustment in the mount. The only thing I would like to see changed is add a set of windage adjustable rings. All in all an excellent deal. I had to use most all of the Left windage adjustment in the scope to get it sighted in, then shot 1.1 inch 5 shot group at 100 yards.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Missing proper mount
I bought this scope pkg. thinking it had what was needed to mount it to my WW1 Russian Nagant 91/30. However, when I rec. it the only mount present wouldn't fit w/o mods. ti the barrel (tapping & drilling). You will need a 3/8 dovetail mount in order to mount it w/o mods. 2-7 x 32 pistol scope worth the money
Bought the 2-7 x 32 scope for a TC Contended 30-30 pistol. I didn't want to spend a lot of money until I could see if I actually liked a scope on the gun. I was pleasantly surprised with the crystal clear view and ease of adjustment. Held zero well after approximately 20 shots. Well worth the money. The long relief is perfect for my Mosin Nagant. The mounting and zeroing was easy. I have a great sight picture and begin plinking targets at 300 yards with about a 1 inch spread on a 10 inch target.
