Poor quality
Purchased this wrap since it had some great reviews, my how the quality of this product must have dropped... Removed my exhaust manifold from my 99 Mitsubishi Eclipse and took my time carefully wrapping each individual exhaust runner. Took photos of it because it looked damn good and I was extremely excited to show it off. Imagine my disappointment when I popped the hood of the car after a single afternoon's worth of driving and saw the dye had baked out of the wrap in numerous spots, leaving the black wrap spotty and discolored. Fast forward a few days and you can easily pick out the hottest parts on the exhaust since there's NO color left in the wrap. I'd avoid this wrap, whatever product people were getting previously must have been swapped with a lesser quality wrap at the same price.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

fiberglass exhaust wrap
This was the first time that I ever attempted to wrap an exhaust. The product worked great. I had to cut it into lengths in order to wrap it, worked great. However my advise to anyone is to wear gloves while using this product, little slivers come out in your hands. BE CAREFUL WITH THIS ONE!
First of all, it is extremely toxic to the touch, had no idea, but after covering my pipes I noticed my ski itching and then getting cut! My hands and legs and face felt like I just walked through shard glass! Which fiberglass is. I hope did not breath too much of it! Took days and a lot of pain to get some relief, but still not 100%.
