Works way better than others
It is an eraser. I used it to take off the decals on my RV as they were in the New Mexico sun too long and began to peel off. The decal sticks to the small erasure pieces coming off the surface of the RV as the wheel wears away. It is hard to hold the drill in an exactly flat position but if you don't, the wheel wears away on an angle so the surface of the wheel doesn't get utilized 100%. Also, you need to use a lot of pressure in some places in order to initiate removal of some of the decals so the wheel gets out of round and vibrates like crazy making it even harder to hold. Once it gets too out of round it is not useable. It is however, much better than the other flat wheels (no fins) or ones that have chemicals and promise an easier less effort type of description as the chemicals cause smudging of the glue that was used to hold the decal on. This wheel doesn't smudge and pulls the decal off without any side effects. If you have a lot of decals order more than one. If you are just removing pin striping or a few small decals than you'll only need one.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

It kind of works, a little big. Maybe not have the slots.
The tool was interesting I watched youTube videos. It works. It is kind of large, be nice to have a smaller version. The slots make it get caught on things and bump around. The bumping cause skids and a little troublesome. Because the size of the wheel I cant get into smaller areas. Be nice to see 2" and 3" options, in solid. Will Do All the Decals, Paint Swirls, Designs on RV-- and more
Saw this and ordered two because I have a lot of peeling and cracking RV type decals and dark paint swirls or designs on both side and real of travel trailer; more than half finished and have very little wear on the rubber wheel. While first using this wheel, it dids become separated or unscrewed from the drill connection or chuck- and did so a few more times; easily corrected or fixed with some Red automotive thread locker. When the wheel erases the dark paint decal, there is quite a lot of dark brown residue or paint smear visible; regular household 'Goo Gone' and paper towel wipe it off easily. Including some pics to show the 18" section I erased and cleaned in 3 minutes- ready for fine sanding and repainting; I'm sure I won't be needing the 2nd wheel..... this thing works great with electric drill; cordless drill will wear down quickly....

Just as good as a 3M but at half the cost
Purchased this decal eraser to remove the pinstriping off a full size van. I was able to delete all the pinstriping with only one wheel. Easy to use. Just apply light pressure and you remove the pinstriping without damaging the paint. Highly recommend.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Works great!
Make sure your drill has adjustable speed settings if you’re using this on a painted surface you care about, went a little too finger happy and took a smidge of my paint off from using it incorrectly lmao. not gonna take a star off for my misuse of the item. When I was able to get speed settings right, it worked like a charm taking off my old emblem residue on my car. Does leave a bit of a mess when you’re using it so just prepare to clean up some shavings from the eraser itself afterwards. Would definitely buy again once this runs out. I found using the edge of the wheel at an angle works best instead of laying it flat down on whatever you’re trying to remove :-)Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Decal eraser

Bought this after watching several videos of persons trying to remove glue from the tailgate once the rear emblem on the tailgate was pried off. This was going to be used to remove stubborn glue for the rear emblem on my 2006 FORD F-150. I ended up not using since the glue was still fresh after 17 years (who knew). Good bang for buck.

Great Tool
Used on a heavily decaled work van. Removed the decals with a heat gun and removed the remaining glue and shadowing with the wheel. Worked great. Used up about half the wheel. I’ll be using the rest of it on some outdoor sign decals. Great product.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
