I re-foamed 3 pair of Baby Advent II's for the first time. Rather than trashing the speakers I tried these kits and to my surprise it was easy and worked well. Perfect instruction and a must to save your speakers.

The 30 hz test disc did not play on either of my CD players. After I glued in the repair foam surrounds it was pretty clear that any fine adjustments would not be possible anyway. As a cautionary note - it is a very touchy operation removing the retainer rings from the frame. They are really glued down and you have to have a very thin sharp and pointed blade and a lot of patience to free them without breaking them. This would be the case with any re-foaming kit

I used these on my promedia woofers and it fit well. Looking for an American made material and I got what I wanted

The kit was complete with all the parts you need. It took a few minutes for the glue to tack up and hold the surround in place, but be patient, and the glue will tack up (5 to 6 minutes). Just keep going around pressing the edges down until they stick. The speakers sound great and it was fun to bring them back. Be careful when removing the old surrounds, they can break down into powder and cause a mess, so use a protective covering over your work surface. Would do it again.
