    Still getting used to it....

My only somewhat negative regarding this phone is the larger size. I upgraded from a G2 to this G5 and the size of the G2 was perfect for my small hands. I also need to increase the memory. I wouldn't say I have a lot of apps but I am getting a message that I need to free up space in order to run a few of my apps. This occurs even when I have all other apps closed. So, if you run a lot of apps, consider adding some memory. Otherwise, it was a very easy transition for me.

    Good but flawed

i got this phone since its specs were double my old phones specs and sicne it was under 5.5 inches. i do have 3 issues though 1: the volume up key refuses to work 2: the settings app will crash if i try to search in it 3: the phone battery is old so i need to replace it since 7 hours of battery life is not enough for me since i tend to play on it a lot. Issues others might need to know about 1: it uses usb c not mini. 2: it cannot use power saver and charge at the same time I do reccommend this phone. but only if you can deal with these flaws. for me personally next month im getting a new battery for the phone. the next month ill get the volume key fixed. it would have been 5 stars if not for the hardware issue on a sealed product.

  • Almost Perfect

Performance was much better than expected. The phone really flies through tasks with ease. Much faster and smoother than a Galaxy S7, which I owned for awhile. The camera is excellent, and takes photos that leave nothing to be desired, as far as a cell phone camera goes. The size of the phone is nearly perfect and feels comfortable in the hand. I have three gripes with the phone. One, the screen quality is not on par with it's two main competitors, the iPhone and the Galaxy S7. Two, the fingerprint scanner didn't work quite as accurately as I had hoped. When it worked, it worked very fast, but I felt it could be more accurate. This might have just been my specific phone. Also, the fingerprint scanner is a button, and it feels cheap. There's lateral movement with the button, even when it's not being pressed. And my final gripe with the phone is that for a flagship, it didn't feel very well made. If it were originally priced at $400 like current flagship killer Chinese phones are priced at, I wouldn't mention the build quality. But as LG's flagship? It feels cheap. This phone is a great choice if purchased for around $350. Above that, there are other options (OnePlus 3T for example). Below that, it should be at the top of your list.

  • LG G5 Solid Smartphone

Better than my G4 maybe as good as the V20 that died in some water. Sold on replaceable batteries so the selection is getting smaller. I like that it's not as tall as the V20, but miss the 64GB internal memory. The method of changing the battery makes me nervous but so far so good. I prefer a removable back. Haven't used the wide-angle camera much yet but like the concept.

  • The LG G5 is still a amazing phone in 2020!

The LG G5 is a great phone with a removable battery and is feature pack. This phone has and can do so many things most 2020 smartphone still can't. It has a i.r blaster to control your TV, 4K player, soundbar, radio or a.c, it still has a removable battery so you can buy a spare and replace it your self when its to old ect, QHD/1440p display, expandable memory up to 2TB, and the list goes on. P.s it also a always on display & has great cameras, one of the rear camera lens is a wide angle lens. The phone is still snappy and has a snapdragon 820 processor. Five stars for the LG G5 in 2020!

  • Happy with the purchase

I had an trying to activate the phone under my name. The seller went above and beyond to help me resolve this issue. I'm thankful for that. As far as the phone I've owned two LG phones previously and I think this phone is improved over the previous models with added features like fingerprint unlocking and a better camera to name only two items. In the coming weeks I will use more features and become more familiar with this phone. So far I'm pleased with the LG G5!

  • Great Phone!

The LG G5 is the best phone I have ever had. Simple to use and good sized screen without being too large. Very responsive and browsing is super fast. My Samsung's in the past always seemed to be slow on opening web pages or downloads. This is far superior and the camera is excellent. Highly recommended.

  • Fantastic Phone, bad sound.

I am coming from an HTC One M7 and I really loved that phone. This has been a bit of an adjustment because it is bigger, but I don't really notice the width of it, only the height. It's been blazing quick. I love the USB-C, mostly because I love to adopt new technology. Really the only complaint I have is that the audio sucks. Yes I know the M7 had front facing speakers that were great, but I didn't think they were that much better. I was wrong. It's not a huge issue. I only notice it with music and videos, but I love my sound range. Phone calls are great though.
