With tennis racquet guitars and hairbrushes for mikes, they stood before the mirror and practiced the Bolan Boogie. Of course, most punks only knew three chords. That was all Marc ever taught them.

NotesBolan boogied his way back up the charts with this 1977 LP, reaching #26 UK and notching another UK Top 20, I Love to Boogie. The snarling, sneering attitude that made him a hero to the punks (who had just risen to power) is on prominent display here; I Love to Boogie joins Jason B. Sad; Universe; Crimson Moon; Hang Ups ; the title cut, and more!
Bolan's first two albums were his best. After that - it was hit or miss (mostly, miss) until the last dregs. This is definitely one of his worst. Where do I start? Mediocre songs, nothing distinctive, nothing memorable - a complete waste of time and money.
