NotesThe musette is a typically Parisian form of music, but it's influences are diverse, and it is this patchwork of music that the Denécheau Jâse Musette continues to promote. The group includes musicians from the Auvergne, Italy, Spain, and America. Although Emile Vacher (1883-1969) is considered the creator of the musette style, and recorded more musettes than javas between 1927 and 1938, the group named their new album after one of his java titles: "Amour Java."
