Need these for 2.0 lighthouses
If you want to upgrade your Vive pro to the new generation 2.0 lighthouses for more range and better tracking you need these 2018 controllers. Your old black ones don't work with the newer lighthouses. Overall I found it to be a worthwhile upgrade.
