I only have a few rides on this bar but I have had an FSA K-wing 44 for 10plus years. The AGX I bought is a 46cm to replace a Salsa Cowchipper carbon 46cm. Thus far I prefer the FSA AGX to both bars mentioned. The flattened portion behind the hoods is my favorite feature of the bar. It allows for excellent comfort while riding on the hoods which is where I ride 90% of the time. The flair in the drops is much more comfortable than the straight drop on the standard KWing and my personal preference in the drops is more comfortable than the Cowchipper. With that said on significant drawback with the AGX and the KWing in comparison to the Cowchipper is the mounting of accessories such as a BarYak/Aerobar setup/or other accessories. You can mount a BarYak if you mount your arms very narrow on the AGX and your stem faceplate isn't too wide. (Most road stems and even a Thompson Mountain stem will allow this spacing. For all around riding my initial impression is a nod to the AGX. However if you spend a lot of time in aerobar position these likely will not work for your set up. If you want to purchase for an aero setup I recommend purchasing from a place with a solid return policy. Beautiful finish!! Very satisfied so far.Read full review
