check the size!!!!
this is not a direct fit for a 79 f150 with a 302! this would be more appropriate for a f250 with a 460. I made it work, its great quality. it was wider that the factory radiator. and the necks were bigger diameter. I had to make brakets for my fan shroud to fit and get/ make a different lower radiator hose. now I did however already have factory holes in my radiator support for this size radiator. also my truck is a auto, 2wd, p/s, NO a/c. I disregarded the note saying to "CHECK THE SIZE", my fault. this radiator seems to be top notch!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Good radiator BUT...
I bought this for a 1975 F100 and it was supposed to be a direct bolt in, but it was not. It wasn't even close to fitting on the front mount, but close on the rear mount. Unfortunately for those of us with factory AC, those mounting holes are already used. I made a 1/4" spacer and used longer bolts to share 1/2 of the mounting holes with the AC. Other than that, it seems to be solidly constructed. Except for the drain valve- mine was bent out of the box and the first time I tried to use it, the handle part snapped off.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
