My shut off valve started leaking on my Kubota M8030, coming down the wire from the rubber grommet. I repaired for a while using silicone then took the grommet out and added epoxy, both eventually failed so when engine was running it was leaking fuel at a steady fast dripping rate. Tried to avoid the price of this part, but soon found it was the best course. Not easy installing, being back of the pump, and preventing the plunger and spring from falling out at the same time, takes some patience. Hardest part is getting the fine threads to finally match up, don’t want to strip. Note: Fuel doesn’t leak when part is off, only flows when engine is running.
