This knife could save your life!
I like Kershaw knives and have owned a number of them. I might even have more of them but the black handles make them easy to misplace. I think I lost one in my shop. I bought this one because of the bright orange handle and so far I have not lost it. I'm also an advocate of seat belt cutters and window breaker knives and have others in my vehicles. My wife carries one clipped into the outside pocket of her shoulder bag. I haven't tried the cutter on a seat belt but it went through a heavy nylon cord like butter. I wouldn't call the blade razor sharp but it is close to it. I was told that if you have to break a wind shield you needed to hit it with the breaker in an upper corner. I have had it since suggested to me by an EMS type that they work better on side windows. considering that in a bad accident you might have a broken arm the assisted opening is a good plan. Safety knife for my wife
It’s designed to cut without opening- seatbelt web. It has a pointed steel knob to break- window. It has a sharp spring assisted blade. I gave it to my wife for her use. Trucker knife
For the price I paid. I don't think you could do any better. High visibility ,sharp blade ,glass breaker. It also has a free lifetime sharpening warranty.
