General Grabber AT2 205/75/R15
First, get the 215, its a multi ply tire opposed to this model that is a single ply. These tires wear a little quick on hot pavement when on an all wheel drive SUV (like a Vanagon Syncro) but seem to wear good in 2wd mode. Good medium grip on rocky roads. This size does well on wet roads concerning puddles, stopping and turning. Snow is handled well by these tires as well. The only thing that will stop these tires is slick clay. With no radial channels they can get a little drifty in the slick mud. Have handled sand good. Just enough spin and traction to manouver my 5000lb van around and not get stuck. Heavier SUVs like mine will need to keep the psi close to the max while lighter cars will benefit from the softer ride the 1ply offers. Stud ready, deep tread, and a beefy look make this tire hard to beat for the price.
