Worked On All Four Schlage Locks--Two Deadbolts and Two Regular
First off, search for the YouTube video on how to install it and watch carefully. The enclosed instructions would have been difficult to work from alone. Once you get the steps and follow them to the letter, it's a smooth operation to re-key up to 6 locks. I was surprised at how simple it really was. Make sure you have a clear area to work in so you can lay the parts out as you disassemble and reassemble the locks. Dead bolts are a little more tricky but not insurmountable. It does involve working with tiny little parts so if you aren't mechanical, patient and methodical, get some help.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

I realized I couldn't rekey it with this kit because I didn't have the key for it. It's a Schlage Lock and the Pin holder is stamped shut, so you have to shim (Pick) the lock the get t o the barrel to replace the pins. I had to take it to a locksmith to get inside it.
