Great repair kit.
My Kenmore natural gas dryer (417.90042990) hadn't given me any trouble for 17 years other than having to replace a burned out light bulb last year, but then one day it smelled pretty bad like burning rubber while it was drying some clothes. The drum had stopped spinning so I opened the top and could see that the belt was gone. I suspect that the belt broke from old age and then fell down somewhere where it got very hot and started to burn up a bit. I started looking for a replacement belt and I found this kit on eBay that had the belt plus a bunch of other parts too, so I ordered it and it turned out that some of the other parts were badly worn and needed replacing anyways. It just took a couple of hours to replace all the parts, which was fairly easy for me to do after watching a repair video on youtube. Now the dryer is working great again and hopefully I get a few more years out of it. Beats the heck out of having to spend a lot more money on a new dryer.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Excellent kit to improve Frigidare Heavy Duty Dryer's lasting performance!
Kit was perfect in every way except for the upper felt was too thick to allow the front to be reinserted inside the dryer drum...What I did was to actually, cut the upper felt into and removed the plastic guides and then cemented the remaining thickness of the upper felt onto the front door lip...once dried the new bottom felt and reduced thickness upper belt fit perfectly!!! Turns out not all Frigidare dryers used such thick upper felts with plastic guides. Very pleased with the kit product. (Note: Maybe an optional upper felt made the same thickness of the lower belt and the same length as the upper belt would enhance the kit. Add a note inside the kit that one upper felt with plastic guides may not work in a particular dryer and to consider using the thinner uppper felt instead...Hope this helpful...Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Check your thickness of glides before purchase
Every dryer is different, they all might have the same components to make up a dryer however every manufacturer slightly do things differently and won't fit all the time, The glides in this kit do not fit my GLER341AS2 dryer however everything else works great and I only had to reuse one of the older glides on my dryer to make it function, I can't give a bad review because this kit was very successful and made my dryer function again so thank you for providing this amazing little kit!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Includes everything that you need.
This kit includes everything you need including directions. The new top felt piece makes getting the front cover back into the drum a little difficult but not impossible, an extra set of hand for that step would be easiest. The top felt is thicker and has 3 Teflon tabs unlike the original that is removed. Hindsight I would have ordered a new element also since you already have the machine apart it is easily accessible. With basic hand tools and lots of distractions the entire rebuild only took an hour. Buy this kit and save yourself several hundreds possibly thousands down the road instead of buying a new dryer.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Came quickly, Every thing was good, I think i orderd the wrong kit becuase my tensioner arm is straight and the belt was a bit short, so i swithed over the pully to my tension arm and added a s hook to the spring holding the tension arm for extra slack, so the belt would fit, with proper tension.
