Purchased this for wireless LAN connectivity, USB port, HDMI output, and DVD with mp3 capability. Logged into my wireless router and accessed YouTube content. 28 GB memory stick works fine in USB port. We don't own any BluRay discs, but it plays regular DVD and MP3 CD's just fine. Bluray Region-Free Player Yes!
This is a great bluray player and yes it's region free A,B,C. I had been looking for a region free player for about a month now. I first went to Best Buy to buy one but to my dismay they did not have one. Which is crazy to me because there Best Buy. I then checked Amazon and a lot of their players were $250+ which is really spendy. I finally went to eBay and found this one. So glad I did! It came 2 days early, which 2 thumbs up for that. Came in the box brand new and the picture quality is great. I would buy this again if I ever needed another bluray Region-Free player. It's also all DVD region free which is another added bonus. WiFi upgrade for a reasonable price! Great purchase!
I bought this to replace a Sony blue ray in my RV that did not have internal WiFi capability. I used the remote and the power cord from the original and it works perfectly. I was looking around for a Blu-Ray Player with Built-In Wi-Fi so I can hook it up in my living room. Everyone I looked at was expensive so I made the decision to purchase a used one. I found this one an it was priced fairly an it was in great condition near mint. I usually buy electronics brand new so I was still skeptical but it turned out to be amazing practically brand new an was loaded with features!! I primarily wanted to use it for Netflix an turns out it was loaded with much much more than I expected. This Sony Blu-ray player is really small, but dont let that fool you. It provides an outstanding picture with both Blu-rays and standard DVDs, and has all the features most people will ever need. Extremely easy to set up, and very intuitive to use. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for the highest quality picture when watching or streaming movies/shows. Absolutly similar to one I bought at Walmart ,size, remote, etc Accept this one is multi region. Any bluray or dvd from another country an it works superb. Loving it right now watching Misfits of Science from Germany. Easy to install, 1 hdmi cable goes back of TV and 1 power adapter.
