Fantastic, but not quite perfect
For such a snappy tablet with a beautiful screen, It's amazing they cheaped out on the speakers. They sound like tin cans connected with string. It's also a shame they decided to go against the current standard and put the speakers on the bottom, which becomes the side when used in Landscape mode. It ruins the whole experience unless you just use head phones. Battery life is extremely impressive, and I bought mine used. Bluetooth, wireless and 4G/LTE are amazingly quick. I carry this tablet around in a Logitech keyboard + case with a mini-USB to USB adapter so I can use an external mouse. It completely replaces my laptop, as there isn't much this little guy can't do. VPN, SSH, RDP, there are apps for almost everything. Now if they would only come up with a Windows emulator for Android... Google could learn a lesson from Samsung here. I replaced my Nexus 7 with the S2 and I'm not sorry. (Except for the crappy speakers.) The only other complaint has to do with the carrier locking the boot loader, making it dangerous to root Android. I also had to pay a visit to the Samsung Experience at Best Buy just to get it updated to 6.0.1. I use Google Fi and it refuses to update unless you are a customer of the original Phone Carrier. Pffft. For the $695 original price tag, you should be able to do whatever the h*** you want with it. LOVE ME! WHY WON'T YOU LOVE ME, CUSTOMER!?! Best your money can buy at least until the Tab S 3 is released
The screen quality is amazing, battery life is good, and size is perfect. I have the note 12.2 and tab 4. I have given the smaller one away and rarely use the bigger one now that I've found the sweet spot in the middle. This tablet weighs less than the tab 4 8.0 but gives you so much more screen real estate. I should have made this purchase sooner, but I'm glad I waited due to getting it at a lower cost. Only downside of this device is that movies are not formatted to take up the entire screen so you get the black bars across the top and bottom. Love it, has room for improvement though.
I bought the Samsung tab s2 to replace my Samsung tab 4, it is leaps and bounds better in speed and screen quality, headphone audio is great, and the signal strength is way better than my iPhone 7 plus on T-Mobile's network. However it does have a couple flaws, 1) the speakers are a down right joke and are a major disappointment on such a nice tablet. 2) why no fast charge? This thing takes forever to charge and having had fast charge on my s7 edge it really could be useful for the tab s2. Amazing little tablet
The Samsung Galaxy S2 Tablet 8.0 was definitely the correct choice for me. I haven't been able to put this thing down. I absolutely love it. Remember to Google any faults you're having with it when you begin using it. I had an issue where my volume was extremely low and I Googled it and found that the Google hangout app was causing it and I had another issue where my wifi kept dropping in and out, I realized that I was in an area where there were many hotspot and other people had the same wifi name as me, so I suggest changing the name on your wifi to something unique and not leaving it as the default if you plan on using your device as a hot spot. Overall I love this thing, I haven't even been using my phone as much. I would like to see a better camera and better screen resolution on the next model however.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Great value, near perfect device
Near new device. The only flaw I detected was a slight delamination under the touch screen in the corner...don't really notice it unless you look for it and well worth it for the savings. (I had it for a few days before I even noticed it.) Went online and got a T-Mobile sim card for under $5. Activated it over the phone (stores want to charge you more for doing it) and signed up for the 200MB/month free data plan. Excellent Upgrade from tab A
Wanted extra storage without having to transfer apps to sd card because of 16 gb storage on my tab A. Now with 32 gb and updated s2 and expandable memory, extra battery life and syncs with my accounts and t-Mobile this is a huge upgrade. Tablet came fast as promised and setup was a breeze.
