Jammed with 1200+ illustrated weight training & exercise variations, you're not likely to find anything more authoritative since it was first published in 1978. My edition appears to be from 2015. Arnold's "Encyclopedia of Bodybuilding" is excellent in depth reading and has a very good selection of exercises and programs buried in the center of it but if you're looking for a truly encyclopedic reference book of difefrent ways to hit every muscle in your body - this is it! Bill Pearl encouraged a lacto-vegetarian diet as well, so if you're into comparing and experimenting with nutrition theories he gives you an alternative to Arnold's steak & eggs.
