I’m a Tele player and these pickups were a great fit for my HH setup. The neck pickup ring conveniently worked in the bridge position (it has a slight curve because they’re made for a Les Paul but you can face that toward the pick guard). Anyway and more importantly these pups rock. Try them and you (probably) won’t be disappointed.

I just had this nickel covered set of phat cat's installed in a Vintage Vs6 (SG copy) and the tones I'm getting are unbelievable. Perfect in all 3 positions, this set is perfect for anyone looking for amazing clean tones.

Excellent P-90 pickups. I've been curious about Seymour Duncan's Phat Cats for a few years and finally purchased a set for my Les Paul. I tried several humbucker combinations but was unable to find a set with a sound that was inspiring. The Phat Cats sound great: clear, phat, tight, and with the right amount of power. Definitely recommend them when humbuckers just don't cut it.

I put these in a maple/mahogany body small Ibanez semi-hollow. I was expecting an improvement but the notes actually jump off of the strings! Tone is such a subjective quality, but these pickups just gave the guitar a presence that was missing from the stock pickups. Great single coil sound in a humbucker form. Definitely better sounding than any demo on the Seymour Duncan site.

A P-90 in a humbucker sized pickup, the best of both worlds. More punch than any double coil, with individual note clarity and high end zing. Single coil pickups are just plain better for tone, and these are great single coils.
