A good all-around leather saver
I came upon this product years ago in an equestrian shop, where it was explained to me that people have been using this for years to soften and protect cowboy boots and saddles, to make them more supple and comfortable. It not only helps to form the footwear nicely on the foot, when following the instructions of the people in the shop I went a long time ago, putting the Neatsfoot Oil on the shoe/boot/saddle itself, and then (if footwear) putting a heavy sock on, and wearing the item awhile, walking around in it, repeating this a couple of days, and the item will feel just fine. Also this product protects and renews the look of leather, even when worn out looking, will refresh the look. There are some cases where you can't use regular shoe polish, as the color can run off on clothing and feet, in the case of footwear, handbags, saddles.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Using Fiebing's Neatsfoot oil
This is some of the best Neatsfoot Oil I have ever used. It is 100% Neatsfoot Oil, not a compound or mixture. I bought it put on a new leather sling for my M1 Garand.
