It has a great 70s classic look with the bullet truss adjust and CBS headstock. The high gloss finish is clean and flawless. The only two issues, which are not that big a deal, are 1) the fret edges were not properly dressed at the factory in Mexico, and the nut cut is not very precise. It took me about an hour to dress the frets and re-cut the nut slots.

Getting a Factory new Fender Neck, especially with a Micro-Tilt system on the Neck, so it's ready to install is so cool. But the bad thing was the slots that were cut into the Nut. Besides being cut for 4- #.010's & 2- #.026 strings, they were not spaced evenly & last, the Low-E was way too close to the edge of the Nut. For $200 having to pay for a new Nut sorta bummed me out. I have my guitar Tech putting it on a 70's Reissue Body. He's just checking everything out. This guide I actually wrote like 8 or 9 months ago. What did the nut cost? $10. LOL, gee what happened to helping a guy out.

This 1970s RI Stat neck plays great, all the fret edges are smooth, it feels good, I would definitely recommend it for the price.
