I've been eyeballing the Surface Pro 4 since it came out, waiting for the price to drop. Mine was an "open box" that included the keyboard/cover for a price that couldn't be beat. This is the Best Windows 10 tablet on the market, IMHO. The build quality is outstanding. The keyboard feels fine. The screen quality is very good. The ports are sufficient for most applications. The battery life, as reported extensively, isn't the greatest. But you must keep in mind that the Intel iCore 5 is a power hog. It delivers good performance at the cost of battery life when pushed into heavy service. Most of us who use desktops that are plugged in all day don't appreciate the power these iCores require to perform as well as they do during multitasking, video playback or using graphics applications. If you can live with a 4-5 hour battery life, the Surface Pro 4 delivers on all other fronts. I'd do it again.Read full review

Everthing works great, except the (whole) bottom of the screen is blurry and shows rapid movement (up and down) which makes it blurry until you move the screen up wawy from bottom of tablet. The battery is ok with about 2-3 hours of workablility until you need to charge the tablet. Overall the product is average , but workable. I did not read where the screen had a flaw.

Pro: Incredible screen Good performance in general Pen input that is a step above competition Sleek, light design Type cover has great feel Integrated kickstand that actually works in all positions Separate magnetic charge connector, common with SP3 Full size USB 3 Expandable storage (micro SD) Con: Expensive (and more with the cover) Mini Displayport needs adapters Mediocre battery life I use a SP4 (i5/4/128) as my main work machine. It does fine for that purpose, though I do wish I'd paid up for the 8GB/256. Not so much for the added storage but for the RAM- I have found that with a bunch of apps running it tends to bog down with only 4. You can use microSD to increase storage, though it will be a lot slower (especially writing) than the onboard M.2 SSD. On that note, it's an NVMe drive and has theoretically crazy performance, though in some models they use a pretty slow drive, relatively speaking. If you care a lot about it, do some research and make sure you get one with an SM951.Read full review

This has been the best Portable computer I have ever used. Is very thin and ultra portable, super fast and nice looking. I did replace my Hp Core i5pro Envy laptop with this Surface. The Screen is very accurate and responsiveness is very good. The battery can last about 4hrs. I am possessively Impressed about several functions that I discover every other day, ie : I like the remote screen sharing to the most of the Smart tvs where is really easy do the connection and the streaming is Just gorgeous. The Keyboard is really comfortable because it is angled about 20 degrees. On the other side, I dont liked the Mouse pad because is very slow and small, its better to use an external Bluetooth mouse. The other inconvenient is the USB , bemuse there is only one port of these so you will need to a USB Hub if you want to connect more than one device.Read full review

So I got mine in yesterday it's the i5 128gb I got it in and the pen and drawing feature works amazing every thing functions very well and I'm glad I made this investment the only reason why I'm a little disappointed is because I ordered the 128gb not knowing that the surface pro 4 has required installed features that take up about 20+gb so right out of the box you only have 90gb of space so if you buy the 128 gb look for a 1tb Sd card

This was my first Surface product. I wanted to get this to work alongside and take some of the work off my current laptop which is from like 2011... I initially liked the Pro 4, but it seemed like too much for me and my needs. All I needed was a computer/tablet with good battery life that didn't have to be the fastest, but I didn't want anything slow. I happened to find one at a really good price, so I picked it up. I've had this for just about 2 weeks, and I'm absolutely in love with it. I've taken this thing everywhere. The screen size is perfect at 12 inches, which means the keyboard is an adequate size, and that's important to me personally because I have large hands. The screen is very responsive, and the front facing speakers are excellent. The cameras are pretty good, it is a tablet after all. The very long charging wire also attaches to the device with magnets, so if someone trips over your wire it'll just detach and won't destroy your charging port. I'm not any sort of creator, just a regular user, so I can't say how great it is with 3D and all that stuff Microsoft is advertising. However, I believe they hit it out of the park with this tablet. The price is a bit difficult at $1,000 retail for my configuration, though it is the version behind so the price should drop somewhat, and picking up a used one like I did helps lower the price as well. Overall, I would definitely recommend the Surface Pro 4 to others.Read full review

After a long-time international journey Surface Pro 4 was finally in my hand. The body and accessories were well protected in the box. I've used my Surface Pro 4 for days. It is an excellent equipment for daily work. A proper size with lightweight, wonderful screen, great performance, easy-to-use surface pen and type cover (NOT included in box, bought from local official site) constitute this 2-in-1 combination -- You can use it as a tablet or a laptop. In terms of battery life, I think there is some gap between Macbook Air. Hope next generation of Surface Pro could achieve progress on this. But surface pen really works well with some apps, which is an unique advantage. Besides, compared with Mac OS, Windows 10 OS is more friendly for traditional PC users and may have better compatibility in most conditions.Read full review

I really find this device is the best fit for PC lover, Pros: 1- very powerful device. 2- lightweight 3- excellent touch screen, 4- nice stand Cons: 1- Pressure sensitive not like Ipad pro, Samsung note or Wacom devices. 2- For normal use will not stay more than 4.5 hours. 3- Very hard to repair internal parts. ( I had one device out of warranty with battery issue still I am not able to find a way to fix it).

I've always used a MacBook, but I wanted to try out this product because I was really drawn to all of the features. This device is incredibly user friendly but can do *so much*. I love the tablet and laptop capabilities. The kickstand is sturdy and allows for a wide range of motion. The only things I would ask for are a slightly longer battery life. Other than that, it's good for work and play; I would highly recommend :)

Over all I'm pleased, it can be your only laptop, if you have young eyes and small steady fingers. The screen is very bright, sensitive and responsive , not a bad thing. Keyboard is quite good though tight. Internet is very quick, videos are very sharp with excellent contrast. Have not used the pen. With the keyboard this is very much a super light, powerful laptop, more than just a tablet but a little small for 80+ year old. I have used it for a month, no issues after initial setup, had wifi connect problem, not sure how it got corrected, no issues since. Would I buy one for my grand-daughter, in an instant.
