It’s not as curly as it looks and the texture feels braiding hair for extensions
I brought my mannequin head to learn how to braid and do box braids. When I received it Thursday night it had a strong process smell to the hair and I went to YouTube to see if I can wash the hair. After a few videos of similar training dolls I am came to the conclusion that you can wash the hair . When I proceeded to wash the hair in lukewarm water I noticed that the curls and waves in the hair began to disappear. I left it to dry by an open window to see if it was because it was wet the hair looked more of s frizzy straight with a wave or two . The hair didn’t revert back. So all this to say if you are looking for a texture to curly or coarser Afro hair this may not be the doll.
