Great sounding receiver, good power!
It is a great reciever ! Took a little time to get everything set right and adjusted! The blue tooth is a little flaky sometimes, and the video output to the TV doesn't respond every once and a while! And it could have faster response when using the remote! Minor things, over all the sound quality is great, great power output. And I love all the different settings and adjustments for sound to find or make it how you like it!!!

go onkyo for comparable quality.
the output wattage is very over rated. i am replacing an onkyo with comparable specs. this is not close. it is much lighter which is a plus in my circumstances. other than that the onkyo is by far better. only reason im replacing it is because the speaker wires shorted and blew the left surround speakers and repair costs are prohibitive. i can't say much about the hdmi value as i only have a dish and dvd connected.

Great replacement
I had one of these that sadly broke. I got this to replace it. The product arrived as advertised. There's no damage, and it performs all functions. Setup and speaker auto-calibrate/tune went like usual. I love this model because it's the last one by Denon to support legacy standards like Dolby ProLogic II and others. I love this because I can still play my PS2, N64, and GameCube without having to get any adapters or converters.

You have to download the manual which isn't so easy to do it doesn't have step by step directions there's certain portions of the manual you have to go into details with but once you understand and read several times over eventually you will get it.
