  • Powerful analog synth but deep

great sound engine for EDM and electro pop but the analog editing is deep and I don't have time for that anymore.

  • Love It!

This is a fantastic synth. The analog side is just dreamy sounding...seriously, with almost no filtering, effecting, tweaking etc. you can get a really fat sound, and from there you're just getting started. The reason I didn't give it 5 stars is just a couple of issues. For one, the shiny surface with non-dimmable LEDs that do not light up the actual labels is a pain to see/use especially in dim stage/studio lighting. The other is the menu diving necessary for the digital side is via a teeny tiny screen with just 4 buttons to navigate. This is a really powerful synth, just can't figure out why Roland decided to skimp on such small, but important factors. Nevertheless, I highly recommend this synth...it's giving me great pleasure and inspiration!
