What information left an impression on me was how I was denied this data while I was in school. It seemed that the available adults who either taught or were counselors did not care about girl drama. Therefore, for me to have self-esteem was almost considered a crime in girl world. These books encourage girls to have self-esteem wither they have friends or pals.
