Maybe one of the best choices for the DIY mechanic. Screen visibility is better than expected, and it's easy to navigate through the system tests. It appears to be as capable as another OBD reader I've used that was triple + the cost of this one. Works for the price
I bought this mostly so I could read out the codes and reset the |check engine light" when the cause is not "serious" rather than just drive around with the light on and hope that it was from nothing serious on my two older vehicles a 99 Tahoe and 01 K2500HD Duramax The instructions could be a little more clear and as such it took me two tries to clear the codes and reset the CEL In the past I would have to go to someplace like AutoZone to get it done for free and now for less than 40 bucks I can do it myself when ever I want to.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
