I'm very happy with my kindle.
I enjoy my kindle Fire HDX8.9 very much. I was concerned at first as I have always bought I pads and Galaxy tablets in the past. Some of my concerns were with the apps as they are down loaded from amazon. I watch HBO and Showtime along with Netflix from my tablet by turning my cell phone into a hot spot. The screen is amazing the tablet light weight very good battery life. I do a lot of shopping on Ebay and Amazon the tablet does an excellent job. I also like the way I can link my accounts and use the security that the tablet offers incase I loose it. The tablet is a great value for the price. The main reason I bought it was the high pixel density the screen is a 10 out of 10. I also by and read a lot of books from amazon and I can down load them or read from the cloud. It has very good storage. The only improvement I can see is if they would put in a slot for a micro storage chip like some of the new phones are doing.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Refurbished

Fire HDX 8.9, still a great buy
Excellent display with very high resolution and colors that pop. Sound is terrific, very clear and excellent separation. Even a hint of bass is there. Bluetoothing to a stereo unit is ideal. I purchased this Kindle (as-new condition) to be used as a lite weight mobile entertainment system. Players for Amazon Music and Videos are already installed and so far I've loaded Youtube Video and Netflix from the Kindle App store and they work fine. Only had this for a bit over a week now but I know I need to install the Google Play Store to add more on-line entertainment choices which I desire. I will do an update after that is accomplished. Also just found out that this Kindle supposedly has OTG capabilities which will solve the lack of external memory dilemma. In process of purchasing a micro USB adapter/SD card reader. Performance wise this is a 5, but functionally I rate it as a 4. One must keep in mind that this is a souped up e-reader from 2013 and not a 2019 full blown expensive tablet.Verified purchase: Yes
